Club Championships
The Senior and Junior Club Championships will be decided by the highest number of points gained with the worst two results being discarded.
Points will be awarded, for anglers weighing eligible fish in at the end of a match and recording a weight, as follows: The angler recording the highest weight will be awarded the maximum number of points for the match, the angler recording the second highest weight will be awarded one point less than the maximum, and so on down to a minimum of one point.
The maximum number of points for each match shall be 20.
A trophy will be awarded to the Senior Champion with a permanent memento and an award made to the Junior winner of the Club Championship.
Summer Cup
This competition is competed for by pairs of anglers selected on a handicap basis determined from the points accrued from the previous seasons Club Championship.
The competition is to be fished over a series of five matches starting in June. New members will be considered to have accrued zero points from the previous seasons Club Championship.
The angler with the highest quantity of points from the previous season will be paired with an angler with the lowest quantity of points from the previous season, and so on.
The points system to determine the winners will be the same as that for the Club Championships, with the points relevant to the pair being lifted from the Match Secretary's match record after every match.
A trophy will be awarded, to be retained for one year.
Roach Trophy
To be awarded to the member recording the heaviest catch of Roach on a club outing specified for this competition.
The actual date and venue being decided by the Match Secretary.
A trophy will be awarded to be retained for one year.
Winter Doubles Trophy
This competition is to be competed for by self-selecting pairs. It is to be fished over a series of five matches starting in November.
Pairs may be formed by any two members, whether Junior or Senior, and must be listed by the first match in November to qualify to fish the series.
The points system to determine the winners will be the same as that for the Club Championships, with the points relevant to the pair being lifted from the Match Secretary's match record after every match.
A trophy will be awarded, to be retained for one year.
Charlie Johnson Memorial and Christmas Match
A special prize will be awarded to the angler finishing in fifth place. Charlie Johnson finished in fifth place on his final Christmas Match.
Trophies for the above competitions will be awarded at the June meeting, or a separate meeting in June set aside for such purpose.
All trophies must be returned by the following April meeting. Members contravening this rule will be considered to have lapsed membership and will have to re-apply.
